Artist Extraordinaire Ken Jungjohann, born and raised in the town of Crockett, CA, after being discharged from service following WWII, enrolled in the Academy of Advertising Art. Upon graduation, he was employed by a San Francisco ad agency. A job offer by an advertising agency then took him to Wichita, Kansas. In 1966 he opened his own fully diversified advertising art studio, serving many prestigious clients such as Pizza Hut, Coleman Outing Products, Beech, Cessna and Lear Aircraft Companies.

After 25 successful years in Kansas, he returned to California, establishing again his own freelance graphic arts studio in Newport Beach. After meeting and marrying Kim, who encouraged his talent in fine art, he began with nautical paintings, and from there ventured into children's portraits, animal portraits, landscapes, seascapes, and whatever else was requested by the client. It was soon apparent that he had a phenomenal versatility in the art realm, astounding even most critical peers. No challenge was too much or ever refused. This has brought him into glass painting, sculpting, porcelain and tile painting, restoration and repair of ceramic and vintage art..... anything at all to do with art! He is also very proficient with, the airbrush, having done photo retouching and product illustrations for over forty years, utilizing the airbrush as the main vehicle for applying paint.

In 1987, he and Kim began biannual sojourns to Sunriver, Oregon, where they had a condo, and the rest is history. Making the permanent move north in 1996, he has continued his artistic pursuits full time and full bore, finding inspiration and limitless resource in the surrounding flora and fauna. As each of us is unique, Ken's talent and willingness to please has no equal.
